There are some wedding days that stay with you long after the last photograph is taken, and Katie and John’s was one of those days.
On September 5, 2026, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them throughout their story, Katie and John celebrated their marriage in the heart of Houma, Louisiana. Their day was rooted in faith, family, and the kind of joy that could be felt in every room.
Their ceremony took place at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where the two exchanged vows during a beautiful Catholic Mass before celebrating the night away with their family and friends at Mardi Gras Hall.
From the quiet moments of getting ready and the anticipation before the ceremony to newlywed portraits, a packed dance floor, and all of the little moments in between, their wedding was everything I love about documenting a day as it naturally unfolds—timeless, emotional, joyful, and completely their own.
